Kim Jordan
Kim, a former music teacher for the Washington, D.C. public school system, was named Sony Innovator’s first runner up in 1991. In June of 1996, her publishing company, Kimberlyn Music, received the prestigious ASCAP Music Award for writing and producing one of the top ten songs on Billboard’s charts, “We Must Be In Love,” recorded by the group Pure Soul.
Kim Jordan served as the national music director at the 44th and 45th National Convention of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., an international service organization. She was one of the directors of the Washington Performing Arts Society’s “Children of the Gospel Concert 2000” at the Kennedy Center. In December 1999, Kim completed her long-awaited inspirational CD, “All For You.” Her newly released CD, "Full Circle", is now available.
She has had a number of outstanding opportunities, including scoring the soundtrack for the Showtime cable network movie, “Rain,” which premiered in July 2002, and producing the 2002 first CD by Pastor Kitt Brewington and Victorious Praise, “Everything To Me.”
On September 30, 2001, Kim was ordained as a Minister of the Gospel at Emmanuel Covenant Church in Hyattsville, MD, where she also serves as Minister of Arts and Community Worship. She is a much sought after producer, musician, director and vocal coach for choirs, conferences, seminars and workshops.
Kim Jordan is CEO of ProSounity Music Entertainment and Revelation Records and is currently producing, performing, lecturing, preaching, and teaching around the United States and the world.
