Jonathan Nelson is no stranger or fledgling in gospel music. He has written for and with some of the masterminds in the industry including Donald Lawrence and Stephen Hurd. And for years he has been the front man for his group Purpose.

Recently added to the Integrity Music roster of urban praise and worship artists, Nelson is excited about the acclaim his debut on Integrity, Right Now Praise, has received. He talks about the impetus and motivation for the songs he penned on the album as well as some of the sacrifices he’s made to walk in his ministry calling. Long heralded as one of the best-dressed men in gospel music, Nelson even shares some of his style secrets.
