Holy Hip Hop Awards Night Produces New Souls For Christ

K-Drama: Receiving Award for Ministry
Of receiving his award, K-Drama told Gospelcity, “I’m getting an award tonight and this [has really encouraged me] to re-energize and [stay] focused.” His newest release on EMI Gospel, Behind The Glory is a documented anthology of K-Drama’s life. Of his music ministry and purpose, K-Drama writes on his MySpace page, “I just want to make an impact on today’s generation in whatever way I can, K-Drama concludes…if its rap, that’s cool…if its going to a child’s sporting event, that’s cool too… I pray that I write honest songs from the heart [and] alongside that, I strive for my life to be better than the songs that I write.” K-Drama was joined by holy hip hop artists Pettidee, Young Prayzr and others who also performed at the show-stopping event.
Temperatures hit below 30 degrees Fahrenheit during the show, but inside Center Stage Arena, fans raised their hands and praised God for holy hip hop. The positive message that was received emphasized Jesus Christ can be worshipped through this medium with sincerity. Towards the end of the night, the praise party was in full effect. This time next year when the Holy Hip Hop Awards night rolls around, be prepared to attend a full-scale concert and worship service.
Holy Hip Hop Week takes place yearly. For more information on events, artists and more, visit their Web site www.holyhiphop.com.
