47th Grammys Scheduled For Feb. 13, 2005 Show will be held in Los Angeles and mark 32nd consecutive year on CBS Grammy.com The 47th Annual Grammys Awards will be hosted in Los Angeles at Staples Center on "Grammys Sunday," Feb. 13, 2005, it was announced today by Recording Academy President Neil Portnow and CBS Senior Vice President, Specials, Jack Sussman. The show will be broadcast on the CBS Television Network at 8 p.m. (ET/PT), marking the 32nd consecutive year the show will air on CBS. Last year's broadcast boasted an increased viewing audience totaling more than 25 million nationwide. Nominations for the 47th Annual Grammys Awards will be announced in Los Angeles on Dec. 7, 2004.

"Grammys Sunday is music's biggest night, attracting millions of viewers around the world" said Portnow. "We look forward to working with Mayor James Hahn and his staff here in Los Angeles , our great friends at Staples Center , and our terrific partners at CBS to make Feb. 13 the pinnacle of musical events marked by outstanding performances and a wealth of our trademark 'GrammysMoments.'"
