Marcus Cole Signs with PureSprings Gospel

Nashville, TN – Through a unique production agreement with RiverPhlo Entertianment, PureSprings Gospel has signed versatile singer-songwriter Marcus Cole to its roster of ministry-oriented, culturally relevant artists.

The Saginaw, Mich. native recognized his call to the ministry at an early age and has devoted the past decade of his life to refining both his ministry and considerable musical gifts. As a respected vocalist, songwriter, musician and producer, Cole garnered the respect of his peers within the gospel music industry, but it was as a member of the renowned gospel group Commissioned that Cole’s voice was first introduced to a national audience and left its indelible mark in the hearts and minds of countless gospel music lovers. With the August 1, 2006 release of his debut solo album, Write My Song, on PureSprings Gospel, Cole welcomes the next chapter of his professional life.

The soulful singer delivered a stunning performance before an enthusiastic crowd at a recent EMI Distribution sales conference, before stepping off the stage to spend quality time with the sales reps. He is also slated to share the stage with legendary performer CeCe Winans on June 20th on the Trinity Broadcasting Network, the world’s largest religious television network. Cole will perform his debut gospel radio single, "Bless My Soul," as well as his contemporary Christian single, "You're There," on the network’s “Praise the Lord” program. Both songs are currently going for adds on radio stations nationwide. PureSprings Gospel will also position Marcus Cole with Grammy Award and multi-platinum artist CeCe Winans for several summer and fall tour dates.
