Ricky Dillard Signs with Alliant Music Distribution

Nashville, TN – Alliant Music Distribution announced today the signing of Gospel music’s perennial favorite RICKY DILLARD. Dillard a Chicago-native is best known for his dynamism and commanding stage presence. Symbolic of Chicago gospel, Dillard introduced the world to the New Generation Chorale which brought an unparalleled excitement and showmanship to the current contemporary choir scene.
Dillard’s noteworthy discography includes 2004’s “Unplugged: The Way Church Used To Be,” the award-winning “No Limit” and the highly acclaimed “Worked It Out.”
Today’s announcement involves a joint venture deal with Dillard’s own label Animated Entertainment and Alliant Music Distribution. Solidifying the next phase in Dillard’s celebrated career, the first release expected will be an upcoming live recording and DVD project in 2007.
“Ricky Dillard is the foremost exciting gospel artist today. We are excited to be a part of the next level of his career and we are looking forward to a great working relationship with his label,” said Alliant Music Group CEO Paul Wright.
Dillard and Animated Entertainment are signed directly to Alliant Music Distribution, a distribution company stemming from the recent Life Changers Group, Inc. merger with Alliant Music Group associated labels. Through that deal, Herb O’Neal was named President of Alliant Music Group. “I’ve listened to Ricky’s music over the years,” said O’Neal. “It’s a privilege to work with him. I am looking forward to making great records with him.”
Alliant Music Group was formed in 2000 by Gospel music industry veteran, Paul Wright III. The emergent independent label has become a major force in the Christian music industry with multiple Dove and Stellar Awards from early releases “Quiet Times Vol. 1-4”, “With This Ring Vol. 1&2” and “Kidz Shout.” Alliant Music Group is now home to industry legends such as Daryl Coley, Blind Boys of Alabama, Lamar Campbell and contemporary artists The Gospel Gangstaz; Excelsior; The Colorado Mass Choir and the hilarious comedy of Trina V.
