Author: Bishop Leonard Scott

Bishop Leonard Scott is widely known in the gospel music industry as the owner of the historic Tyscot Records. He’s also an anointed minister, singer, musician and songwriter. Now he can add to his amazing roster the title of author.

Soaring with Eagles is an excellent book to give to a new convert or a refresher manual for mature saints. He shares from his heart lessons learned through the years from the Bible, instructors, mentors and his personal life experiences. This 135‑page book has 29 chapters and is written in an easy-to-read format that can be used with small Bible study groups. It’s broken into five parts: The God We Serve: Our Focus; The Opposition: Our Enemy; The Seven Keys to the Worship Lifestyle: Our Procedures; The Ten Primary Directives: Our Mandate and The Attitude: Our Power Through Love.

Soaring with Eagles… clearly explains how to live a victorious Christian life. The point is made about developing a meaningful relationship with God to help as you develop a lifestyle of worship. He refers to the book as a virtual Christianity 101 course in the basics of Christian living. .

This book provides the necessary tools to remind and motivate you that God has given you everything you need to be a victorious believer. It’s not always easy for a new converts to make a quick transition to the church lifestyle. Spiritual support is needed. This guide for the new saint can help anyone understand the fundamental principles for living a Christian life.

I personally enjoyed reading about the seven keys to the worship lifestyle. Bishop Scott covered these keys in a very concise manner. The seven keys are prayer, fasting, the Word, the Church (what happens when you go to church and when we don’t go to church), giving, witnessing and worship.

Bishop Scott explains how the 10 Commandants are a mandate from God that is still very relevant and important to Christian life. He makes a point that it’s impossible to live a lifestyle of worship without adhering to these fundamental commandants.
