Do Men Worship God?
Right now, awesome worship is going on in heaven. A glimpse of worship in heaven is described in Revelation 4:8-11(NIV), “each of the four living creatures had six wings and was covered with eyes all around, even under his wings. Day and night they never stop saying: "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come." Whenever the living creatures give glory, honor and thanks to him who sits on the throne and who lives forever and ever, the twenty-four elders fall down before him who sits on the throne, and worship him who lives for ever and ever. They lay their crowns before the throne and say: You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being."
Wow!! That sounds like a powerful and anointed worship experience. Just think; if you are not worshipping God here on earth, how do you expect to worship Him in heaven?
God wants you to become a worshipper today. Being a worshipper isn’t just listening to a sermon, appreciating the harmony of the choir or joining in singing a song. Worship goes deeper. Since God is a Spirit, we fellowship with Him with our spirit. John 4:24 (AMP) says, “God is a Spirit (a spiritual Being) and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth (reality). God is looking for men who will voluntarily love and worship Him with all of their heart, soul, mind and strength. Daily, we need to surrender to God so He can give us more of Himself. You’ll discover as a worshipper that you’ll feel more energized, renewed and motivated.
Brothers here are some benefits you can receive as a worshipper:
- Increased faith
- Focused mind on the things of God
- Improved attitudes
- Maintain spiritual priorities
- Experience consistency in your Christian lifestyle
Do men worship God? The answer is: yes we do!!!! Your worship helps develop your growth and personal relationship with God. As men, we should worship God because He’s an incredible God. In Psalm 99:5 (KJV) it says, “exalt ye the Lord our God and worship at his footstool.” The more we humble ourselves before God in worship, the more we exalt him. Worship is a key element in your walk with the Lord. Remember praise is giving thanks to God for what he has done for you but worship is praise and adoration toward God for who He is.
