Love: A Powerful Word with a Powerful Meaning
On this Valentine’s Day, I implore you to show love to everyone. I dare you to move beyond loving those who love you, and love those who’ve hurt you. As Christians, we must show the world that love isn’t dead, but alive in us and through us. As the writer of 1st John points out, “Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.” Love, a powerful word with a powerful meaning, because it’s a gift from God.
