Save The Gospel Show hosted by Dave P

In December 2005 a campaign was launched to save the gospel show hosted by Dave P for more than ten years on Choice FM. Well the campaign was successful in part and a new presenter Helen Woodie was added to the show to present alongside Dave P.

On 13 July 2006, Choice FM issued a press statement announcing schedule changes in their programmes which included the gospel show, being moved from it’s then current slot of Sunday mornings from 6am to 9am on to Sunday midnight. Sunday mornings slot is now a breakfast show hosted by Choice FM presenter Selena.

O3 media the organisers of ‘save the gospel show’ campaign and Dave P wanted to say a big ‘Thank You’ to everyone who not only sent an email, but forwarded the email onto their friends. Emails were forwarded to Choice FM and GCap media who own Choice FM.

Dave P is looking forward to carrying on the good work and spreading the word in his Positive Inspirations show. Dave P: “This is a show for the real lovers of gospel music, still the same format. I'm looking forward to keeping gospel urban music on the map in the UK. This is going to be a big test, but it will be worth it in the long run.”
