After nearly two years Bishop Eddie L. Long and the New Birth Total Praise Choir are gearing up for their second release on EMI Gospel titled A New Beginning. The new project from Long is a contemporary choir praise and worship album with a modern flair, that embodies a smooth flowing Gospel/R&B groove enforcing the theme of forward-directed, present and future tense thinking, faith and belief of Gods people. The soon to be classic album of newly recorded material hits stores February 21st.

Returning again to the new project as director and creative mastermind is Grammy-Award winner Kevin Bond, whose million-selling credits include work with the Who's-Who in Gospel music including Kirk Franklin, Yolanda Adams, Donnie McClurkin and Bishop T.D. Jakes. Kevin also serves as producer and writer or co-writer of the majority of the 12 tracks.

Among the numerous wonderful songs featured on A New Beginning is the electrifying soul stirring "It Shall Come to Pass," an unforgettable anthem which is taking Gospel radio by storm. "God Is," a perfect example of N.B.T.P.C. stretching the parameters of Sunday-morning church, while still holding fast to universal sound that anyone can readily lock into and "Lord We Bless Your Name," celebrating God, and His worthiness.

"The only way for us to really see ourselves is to celebrate Him," says Kevin, "but so often we've got it backwards. We celebrate ourselves and never see who He really is at all." A New Beginning invokes an expedition of spiritual peace in the hearts and minds of Gods people to move forward in life and faith.
