Former Prince Backup Singer Niyoki Set for National Debut

Before launching her solo career, Niyoki began her journey by touring steadily with her musical family from a tender age, performing alongside artists such as Grammy Award winner and Gospel Music Hall of Fall inductee Shirley Caesar and Stellar Award winner R. Kelly. In 2002, Niyoki toured and recorded with award-winning musical icon Prince.

“I’ve been through a lot and I have something to say,” Niyoki comments, “especially to young people looking for hope, inspiration and the strength not to give up on their dreams.”
