Integrity Music to Release New Jason Upton Project

Beautiful People Arrives at Retail on May 29th

MOBILE, Ala. – Acclaimed indie worship artist Jason Upton will release Beautiful People, his first CD in a new distribution relationship with Integrity Music on May 29.

Upton, who holds a Masters of Divinity from Regent University, is often compared to legendary songwriters Keith Green and Rich Mullins for the lyrical depth and prophetic voice present in his music. As with his previous albums, including the signature Faith, Beautiful People is both a musical experience and a bold and convicting worship encounter.

Recorded live in Charlotte, N.C. last fall, Beautiful People offers a thematic approach beginning with the album cover art that is at the same time both poignant and ironic, and certain to be one of the most talked about covers in 2007. Inside the CD, the music runs the gamut from radio friendly songs to corporate worship anthems to intimate and spontaneous musical moments, all ultimately revealing Upton’s skill as a musician, gift as a songwriter and pastoral heart.
