And the awesome Valerie Boyd is back with her new release entitled Valerie Boyd: VICTORY! This CD is a breath of fresh wind and will have you praising, crying and rejoicing.

Valerie Boyd is known for her incredible ability to sing traditional gospel music and take it to heights unknown! Well, she doesn’t disappoint on this offering and just when you think you know her; she flips the script and gives us some contemporary pieces that will have you dancing in the aisles. It’s a musical journey; come go with me as we stroll down VICTORY Boulevard!

The CD starts out with Roar Of The Lion which was written by Mark Chadwick. I love this tune because it’s relevant to our music of today and will have everybody giving God the glory. Boyd comes out the box displaying her ability to hang with the best of them. If you’re In need of a hot praise and worship number; then this is your song!

Deeper Well is a beautiful song which lets the believer know there is a place in God we can go and know He is there. Boyd’s vocals are so rich and pure on this number. You’ll love the flawless performance of the instruments and background vocals.

Victory is all that and some! This is the title track for this CD and rightfully so!! Valerie tells us that no matter what you’re going through, the victory is yours! The piano man Darin Whittington, really put his fingers on this one. Clap your hands and tell your neighbor - I’ve got the victory! V-I-C-T-O-R-Y!

He Inhabits has that calypso, island feel. Every praise team in the world should dance to this one! If you’re looking for that Easter Hosanna song to praise to; well, this is it. Jehovah Jireh is another song that will have you dancing. This is a song of encouragement to every believer. Boyd and her singers reaffirms us that God is everything we need and more. If He sees the grass and the lilies of the field then I know He watches over me!
