Salvador - Set to Release "Dismiss the Mystery"

Album Recorded at Willie Nelson’s Studio and Embarks on 30 City Fall tour

New York, NY – Word Records (a Warner Bros./Curb co.) Austin based Latin Jam Band, Salvador, prepares to release their fifth studio album on August 29th.  The record was produced by lead singer Nic Gonzales and keyboard player Chris Bevins at Willie Nelson’s Pedernales Studio in Austin, TX. 

Salvador has earned multiple Latin Billboard Award nominations and took home the Dove Award for “Spanish Language Album of the Year” for Con Poder.  They have played to audiences numbering in the hundreds of thousands, including performing with Billy Graham’s final Crusade in New York City.  The band travels an average of 200 dates a year and continues to build their loyal and appreciative fan base.  Their last single, Heaven, was Top 5 for 18 weeks on AC radio and was the 4th most played song of 2005!

Salvador is still giving their fans what they are known for… honest, poignant, and insightful lyrics, while staying true to their Latino roots.  Nic Gonzales co-wrote every song on the album along with such luminaries as Chris Rodriguez, Matt Bronlewee, Jason Ingram, and Cindy Morgan. Gonzales says, “With this album we had an opportunity to change our style and alter our sound…we chose not to.” Gonzales explains “ The lyrics in Neighbor ‘What separates us from our fellow man/Is it the fear of what we do not understand?/So let’s dismiss this mystery and talk about it honestly’ is where the title of our album comes from and best describes what we are trying to say. Shine, the first single from the album, is set to add at all formats on June 22.

This fall Salvador will embark on their 4th headlining tour visiting 30 cities. In addition to their national tour, Salvador will also be appearing at various festivals and events throughout the U.S. this summer. More news regarding the fall tour will be released in the upcoming weeks.
