Debut music video hits #1 on Gospel Music Channel,
stays in Top 5 for record 16 weeks

Nashville, Tennessee - When the Bozeman, Montana based band Tracing Days hired an established Nashville music producer to helm their debut CD, they had high hopes but few expectations. Fast forward several months, and the band had secured a major distribution deal, international press and a #1 music video on North America's top Christian music network. Their debut CD Control was released nationwide on September 20th.

An aggressive publicity and marketing campaign has been underway for several months, and the band's debut music video for the song "Life Outside" was World Premiered on Gospel Music Channel in August. The video held the #1 spot on the network for two weeks, and it has remained in the Top 5 on the network's rock chart for a record 16 weeks (5 of those weeks at #1) and counting.

"We were thrilled to world premiere “Life Outside” from Tracing Days," stated Jerry Williams with Gospel Music Channel. "The song itself is hooky and thought provoking and the video is stellar. The fact that it’s the first video from this relatively new act made it even sweeter; we can impress people 10 years from now when we say, 'We world premiered Tracing Days' first video.'

In addition to the Gospel Music Channel, the video has been played on over 50 networks across the country, including great exposure on several closed circuit video pools airing in over 2,000 retail stores, night clubs, cruise ships and various other establishments nationwide, including all Gold's Gym locations.

The new year starts with the release of a second single ("Monochrome”) to Christian CHR and Rock radio (available on Promo Only this week), as well as continued television appearances and promotional events.

Control was released on September 20, 2006 by Full Color Records and Infinity Music Distribution (a division of Central South Distribution, Inc.). Produced by Ainslie (Fusebox, Rebecca St. James), the band's modern rock debut is sure to appeal to U2 and Switchfoot fans.
