Michael Tait Lends His Voice to New Waterfront Records Project

2005 GRAMMY-nominated TAIT frontman, Michael Tait, has recently released the single of the world-renowned hymn, “How Great Thou Art,” for the Bridges: Classic Hymns, Modern Worship recording which was released Feb. 1.

“Nothing stirs my heart more than the classic hymns of our faith and ‘How Great Thou Art' is one of my favorites,” says Tait.“ I've sung this song all my life, but this new arrangement will make these classic lyrics exciting to a new generation.”

“I am truly blown away by the way ‘How Great Thou Art' sounds. Tait's voice fit perfectly in with the song and I walked away blessed and moved by the whole experience,” adds Bridges' executive producer, Marc Byrd ( God of Wonders, City On A Hill ).

Hugh Robertson, founder of Waterfront Records, notes, “Responding to a need voiced by church music ministers and worship leaders for music that bridges the foundational theology of our greatest hymns with a modern musical approach, we put together some of today's most popular modern worship artists to create a new resource for the church.”
