Sereniti Records Recording Artist Ordained Praise Releases Single From Upcoming Project – New Song/Nueva Cancion

Atlanta, June 9, 2005 – Ordained Praise, a sensational new Latino Christian artist on the Atlanta-based Sereniti Records label, announces the release of the first single - New Song/Nueva Cancion – from its upcoming project. The group’s debut album, A New Song/Nueva Cancion, which is scheduled for release this summer, showcases the versatility of this dynamic trio, featuring songs in both English and Spanish in a variety of music styles.

Ordained Praise (www.ordainedpraise.com), whose members hail from Puerto Rico and Panama, is made up of three outstanding vocalists - Gustavo Ortega, Joivan Jimenez, and Noah Chaparro, Jr. – who bring a unique blend of power and reverence to their music. Their tight, clean harmonies do not fit into any one musical genre, but move effortlessly among Latin, R & B, Hip Hop, Gospel and Contemporary Christian influences, while incorporating the rich sound of the group’s Latino heritage. The inspiration for the first single comes from several of the Psalms, where mankind is encouraged to “sing unto the Lord a new song.” This is a fitting description of the ministry of Ordained Praise, as the group breaks new ground with its multicultural approach to music and ministry.
