Dr. Frederick K. C. Price Officially Welcomed to New York City by Senator Clinton and Mayor Bloomberg During Special Pre-Thanksgiving Sunday Service at CCC East on Sunday, November 20

Los Angeles - Dr. Frederick K. C. Price received a rousing official welcome to NYC from some of New York's most powerful politicians during his special pre-Thanksgiving Service held on Sunday, November 20, at Crenshaw Christian Center East, the newest outpost of Dr. Price's Los Angeles based, mighty Crenshaw Christian Center. CCC East is the recently acquired NYC landmark church that has stood in majestic splendor at its command location on the corner of 96th Street and Central Park West on Manhattan's Upper Westside for over 100 years.

U.S. Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton sent her Deputy State Director, Mr. Tyson A. Pratcher, Esquire, to read an official citation from Sen. Clinton to Dr. Price that was a stirring message full of praise and welcome. Mayor of New York, the Honorable Michael R. Bloomberg was represented in the form of a beautifully worded letter of welcome and support he prepared for the Service that was read by Ms. Cheryl Price to the enthusiastic, standing room only congregation. New York City Council Member Gale A. Brewer, representing District 6, which includes the Upper Westside location of Dr. Price's church, made a personal appearance in order to present and read from a Proclamation full of praise and welcome. The document was embellished with exquisite calligraphy on parchment paper and already framed. And finally, popular Council Member Charles Barron representing District 42, Brooklyn, sent his representative, Legislative Aide, Kevin McCall, to present Proclamations to both Dr. Price and CCC East on-site pastor, David S. Sparks, a Brooklyn native.

Other notables in attendance included: Crenhaw Christian Center First Lady, Dr. Betty R. Price, CCC President Angela M. Evans, NYC Tastemaker, radio personality and Publisher of Black Noir magazine, Flo Anthony, as well as Publisher of Black Diaspora magazine, Rene John-Sandy, and Columnist Wanda G, as well as coverage from the New York Daily News and other media who turned out for this special Service, which was taped for later television broadcast.
