Richard Smallwood presented a concert on his CD release day for his Washington D.C. Metro fans. Smallwood wanted them to experience live, some of the music featured on his highly anticipated project “Journey: Live in New York.”
World Gospel Jam 2007 is part of the Cisco Ottawa Bluesfest. It takes place on Saturday July 14, 2007 from 12pm to 11pm. This year’s event is billed as having something for everyone, with artists coming from a wide range of musical genres and ethnic backgrounds.
GRAMMY and Dove Award nominated hip-hop group The Cross Movement will kick off their three-month 36-city HIStory Tour on June 11, 2007, in Norfolk, Va., promoting what may be their last project—HIStory: Our Place In His Story, which hit stores June 5, 2007.
IT2L series host, Akintunde will headline each show, and accompanying him will be special guest Christian comedians, Mike Goodwin (As Seen on The Black Family Channel), Todd Mickens (2005 Heavy Hitters Christian Comedy Competition Winner), and Corie Johnson (As seen on The Black Family Channel).
The Tour is designed to promote two releases by Kurtis Blow Walker. The first "Hip Hop Ministry" a compilation CD released on May 8th, 2007 on Holy Hip Hop/EMI, and "Just Do It" Kurtis Blow and The Trinity Debut CD.
This year's event features artists who will perform on two nights, with performances and sermons including GRAMMY-winning recording artist Pastor Smokie Norful, Dr. Cissy Houston, Micah Stampley, Evangelist Dorothy Norwood, LaShun Pace and The Anointed Pace Sisters.
