Gospel Superfest Plays to Sell Out Crowd in NYC !
Attendees came from around the world including Los Angeles, Europe, The Caribbean, and Africa, to witness this historic ground breaking TV recording session. The Superfest pressroom was filled with reporters, writers, radio announcers and TV producers from over seventy-five (75) different press entities from around the country and Europe. It was Gospel Superfest New York-2, the show’s seventh national TV taping and second taping in New York city, and it lived up to its billing as the largest gospel music TV production in the world!
Gospel Superfest has grown into a television spectacle that mirrors, Hollywood, mainstream prime time variety shows and has set a new standard of excellence in the gospel music TV industry! In four short weeks TV audiences around the world will get to see for themselves the powerful and untapped talent that the gospel music genre has to offer as the first installment from the New York session is slated for domestic syndication beginning this month. United Television, the producers of Gospel Superfest have once again captured America’s finest gospel artists on tape and put another historic season “In the Can” for millions of TV viewers to enjoy!
Gospel Superfest Holiday will air in syndication November 28, 2005 thru January 1, 2005. The show will reach over 90% of all US TV HH and will also repeat after syndication on three top TV Networks including, The Word Network, PAX TV Network and The Daystar TV Network during the Christmas Holiday Season.
Gospel Superfest 6th Annual Salute to Black History, with Vivica A. Fox, Clifton Davis and Vanessa Williams, will air in syndication January 23 thru February 27, 2006 on the same networks as mentioned above. Multiple specials from the session and a weekly series will follow throughout the year 2006 including Gospel Superfest Easter Jam, Gospel Superfest Most Memorable-2 and Gospel Superfest Back To School Jam-4.
Gospel Superfest Television is a production of United Television, LLC of Ohio and is seen weekly around the world on the Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN). Its producers have planned to release five one-hour specials in syndication in the year 2006 from the New York-2 recording session. The Gospel Superfest was divinely inspired in the year 1998 and its first session was recorded in Louisville, KY June 9th,10th & 11th, 2000. Sessions followed annually, prior to the show’s landing in New York City, in the cities of Columbus, OH, Raleigh, NC, Jacksonville, FL and Atlanta, GA. Gospel Superfest is one of the most widely distributed TV programs in black gospel music with distribution quarterly at over ninety-two percent of all US TV households. United Television continues to produce and develop “first run” syndicated specials that are family oriented, uplifting and encouraging. Major market stations slated to air the first installments are WABC TV-7 New York, KNBC TV-Los Angles, WBBM – TV-2 (CBS) Chicago, WXIA-TV-11 (NBC) Atlanta, KTXA, TV-21 (UPN), Dallas, TX, KYW-TV-2 (CBS) Philadelphia, WXIX-TV-19 (FOX) Cincinnati, OH, WEWS-TV-5 (ABC) Cleveland, OH and many others.
