Gospel Search of America 2007 - Industry Seminars & National Talent Search

Dallas, Texas will provide a chance of a lifetime, as some of the Gospel Music Industry’s most prominent and influential leaders and executives convene at the Gospel Search of America 2007 (GSA 2007) to educate and empower independent artist.   Over 7,000 attendees are expected in Dallas for this remarkable experience. 

This highly anticipated 2-day event has been spearheaded by TRAKO Entertainment, and its visionary leader, Karessa Lang. Lang’s vision is to provide key industry access and exposure for the independent artists of all genres while ‘bridging the gap’ between their talent and knowledge of the music industry. “Bringing the right people with the right message has the potential to make a huge impact in their music ministries and careers,” says Lang. “This conference puts the independent artist in front of the right people.”

Among the presenters are world renowned leaders in the industry, including Sanchez Harley, Tracey Artis, Larry Blackwell, Bryant Scott, Richard Pacart, Gordon Ely and Bishop Sam Williams.  Boston-based Comin Atcha Distribution CEO, H. Joseph Langham and Stellar Award winner/Grammy nominated artist, Byron Cage, round out the influential roster of workshop and seminar speakers. Topics such as National Distribution, Marketing/Promotions,  Radio,  Publishing, Starting a Record Label, What Labels are looking for in an Artist, and GMWA/GAG benefits will be delivered ‘up-close and personal’ as these industry experts share their lessons learned and personal experiences while imparting crucial business knowledge.

Confirmed participation from various gospel labels proves to give a unique opportunity, as the GSA 2007 will culminate with a National Concert and Talent Search for The Next Great Gospel Recording Artist. Label sponsorships include EMI Gospel, Tyscot Records, Zomba/Sony-BMG, Chez Musique, and OLOF Entertainment among others. Gospel Search of America 2007 will take place at Friendship West Baptist Church, with Dr. Fredrick D. Haynes III, Host Pastor.  Dallas is known as the MEGA church capitol and is a key market in the Gospel Music Industry—a great place for exposure for all artists.
