(Washington, D.C.) – Zomba/Quietwater artist DeWayne Woods has announced plans for a nationwide fall tour. Woods’ song “Let Go”, a powerful anthem of surrender, has been blaring from radio stations across the nation and has peaked at #4 on the Billboard Hot Gospel Singles chart. The Donald Lawrence and John P. Kee protégé released his debut project, “DeWayne Woods & When Singers Meet”, to much acclaim. But it’s not just “Let Go” that has provided audiences with inspiration; it’s his awesome testimony of complete healing from HIV which has inspired people as well. Having worked with artists such as Kurt Carr, Byron Cage, Karen Clark Sheard and Kirk Whalum, now the singer, songwriter, and actor is headlining his first tour, “The DeWayne Woods Tour” sponsored by Zomba Gospel, Ellis Verne Agency and World Vision. Woods is embarking on the 25+ city tour which starts in Baton Rouge, LA on Friday, October 5th and ends on November 18th. The tour includes additional stops in cities such as New Orleans, LA, Savannah, GA, Richmond, VA, St. Louis, MO, and Buffalo, NY. During the tour, DeWayne will be conveying his faith-based story told on his debut album through song and dramatic interpretation. DeWayne Woods Tour Schedule is:
