New Mercies Presents The Born Identity Youth Conference

Lilburn, GA - In a bold mission aimed at preparing young people to take dominion in their life and discover who they were born to be, New Mercies Christian Church Sr. Pastor, Jesse Curney, III along with New Mercies R.A.W Youth Ministry, readies for the dynamic 'Born Identity Youth Conference.' The conference will be held Wednesday, April 2nd thru Sunday, April 6th, 2008 at New Mercies Church in Lilburn GA, with the purpose to help a generation of youth discover the path that they were birthed to travel.

"We are dealing with a generation of youth who are technically advanced, instantly gratified and enamored with and seeking to emulate the lives of the celebrities that they see on television and read about in the magazines everyday," states New Mercies Christian Church Youth Pastor, 23 year old author and Church Elder Marquis Boone. "The youth of today struggle daily with depression, anger, loneliness, questions about their sexuality, self-esteem, and identity issues," asserts Boone. "They need to be inspired and reminded about who they are and what they were birthed to accomplish," he continues. "When God created each of us he created us with a purpose and unique distinct characteristics that define who we are, our Born Identity. The purpose of this conference is to help the youth discover theirs."

The Born Identity Conference takes place Wednesday April 2nd - Sunday April 6th at New Mercies beautiful new state of the art church and meeting facility at 4000 Five Forks Trickum Road, Lilburn GA. The conference will include dynamic guest speakers, namely R.J. Matthews, Isaiah Robertson and New Mercies Youth Pastor Elder Marquis Boone and New Mercies own, Sr. Pastor, Jesse Curney III. Conference goers will also be treated to a stellar hip-hop/gospel concert featuring Gospel Recording Artist Tye Tribbett; Gospel Hip-Hop Artist Da' T.R.U.T.H, Atlanta's own Canton Jones; and Gospel newcomer Korey Bowie. The conference will also feature targeted workshops and classes, a Gospel comedy show, fashion show, step show, games and, a celebrity "Born Identity" panel. The cost to attend the conference is $50.00 per person and $30.00 per person for groups of 10 or more.
