Multi-Stellar Award Winner DeWayne Woods Headlines The Hope Nation Tour

Artist Is Joined By Well-known Artists Coko, Myron Butler & Levi, Jonathan Nelson, Canton Jones, Tarsha' McMillian Hamilton, and Ted Winn

(Washington, D.C.) - On the heels of his three 2008 Stellar Awards, Zomba Gospel/Quiet Water Entertainment DeWayne Woods cis headlining The Hope Nation Tour which started on April 2, 2008 in Hattiesburg, MS and closes on Sunday, May 25th in Los Angeles (partial lineup below). In addition to Woods, the Hope Nation Tour features Coko, Myron Butler & Levi, Jonathan Nelson, Canton Jones, Tarsha' McMillian Hamilton, and Ted Winn. With a star-studded lineup, the tour will be making stops in cities like Washington, D.C., New Orleans, LA, Orlando, FL and Atlanta, GA. Sponsored by The Ellis Verne Agency in partnership with World Vision, the Hope Nation Tour aims to empower and inspire with a message of hope from today's most popular gospel artists. Other tour sponsors include Arrow Records, The IFFI Group, itickets.com, GospelCity.com, and IMAGE Magazine.

Winning coveted Stellars including New Artist of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year, and Urban/Inspirational Single/Performance of the Year, DeWayne Woods received national recognition for his debut Zomba Gospel/Quiet Water Entertainment project Introducing DeWayne Woods & When Singers Meet at the 2008 Stellar Awards held at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville in January. In addition, P.J. Morton, writer of DeWayne's megahit "Let Go", walked away with a 2008 Stellar Award for Song Of The Year. A former background singer for John P. Kee & New Life and Donald Lawrence & The Tri-City Singers, Woods gained a huge fan base with his breakout hit "Let Go", one of 2007's hottest gospel tunes.

Woods will be joined on The Hope Nation Tour by a number of his friends. Coko, former lead singer of the R&B trio, SWV, or Sisters With Voices, broke on to the gospel music scene with her debut, the GRAMMY nominated project Grateful. A mixture of R&B and gospel sounds, the project spawned the hit, "I Get Joy" featuring Kirk Franklin and "Clap Your Hands".

Myron Butler & Levi, multiple Stellar Award winners, has been wowing audiences since their debut Set Me Free in November 2005. The ensemble returned with their follow-up, Stronger in 2007, to rave reviews. Butler, a protégé of gospel superstar Kirk Franklin, has written or produced for Kim Burrell, Twinkie Clark andSmokie Norful.

Stellar Award winner, Jonathan Nelson, is one of Integrity Gospel's most recent signings. Winning his Stellar award for "Healed", which was made popular by Donald Lawrence & The Tri-City Singers, Nelson has been behind the scenes writing hits for artists such asBishop T.D. Jakes, Youth For Christ, Stephen Hurd, among others. Nelson just released his major label debut Right Now Praise with the current radio hit "My Name Is Victory".

Arrow Records artist Canton Jones, one of gospel's most popular Holy Hip Hop artists, recently released his fourth project, Kingdom Business, which debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard Gospel Music Charts. The GRAMMY and Stellar Award nominee is experiencing major success with the lead single "My Day".

Tarsha' McMillian, a dynamic new artist bursting on the Christian music scene, will join The Hope Nation Tour as well. With a neo-soul vibe and an inspiring message, Tarsha' prepares for her first tour as a solo artist. Wife of neo-soul icon Anthony Hamilton and featured on "Preacher's Daughter" from his sophomore project, "Ain't Nobody Worryin'", Tarsha has already displayed her God-given talent and will continue to on her solo debut "The McMillian Story".

Ted Winn, who came to the forefront of gospel music as a part of the famed duo Ted & Sheri, is a member of Richard Smallwood's Vision. Winn received two Stellar Awards in 2003 for Group/Duo of the Year and Contemporary Group Duo of the Year. Now a solo artist, Winn will be debuting new music from his upcoming CD.
