Freda Battle New Live Recording

Nashville, TN - One of Gospel Music’s preeminent worship leaders and songwriters along with members of her choral aggregation The Temple Worshippers and Friends are preparing for their next effort entitled “Seasons of Change“, produced by gospel veterans Maurice Rogers and Kevin Kelley. The Live recording session takes place on Friday, December 19, 2008 at 7 pm at Bethel Family Worship Center in Durham, NC., Bishop George Bloomer, Pastor.

“Seasons of Change” will be the follow-up project to the 2006 critically acclaimed “Here Is Our Praise” and her 2002 national debut release “Serious Praise” . Battle is well known throughout the industry as a songwriter and worship leader after 25+ years in gospel music. Throughout most of her career, she has been actively involved with the National Convention of Gospel Choirs and has written more than 200 songs and holds writing credits for the Gospel Music Workshop of America Mass Choir, the National Convention of Gospel Choirs and Choruses, CGI recording artist AS One, Clarence Powell, Stellar award winning female group Witness, Darryl Coley's, Here II Praise project on Verity Records and the Temple Worshippers.
