This correspondence will serve as a small indication about the day, the format and address. Anything else or questions you may have, please feel free to email me directly and someone from the office will contact you quickly immediately.

In order to prepare the day properly:

  • We do need to know your day of choice ASAP
  • If you’ve RSVD’d already but find that you cannot attend, please let us know as soon as you can (within 24 hours)
  • If you cannot attend but know of someone else that may be interested, please feel free to pass this opportunity along

The Day:
Basically, GU is seeking to engage all denominations, regardless of their ethnicity to develop a dialog on how they can better serve Pastors, ministers of music and worship leaders by having them share their ministry outreach projects, worship experiences, as well as GU sharing their dining and music ministry plans with ministers.

The Format:
We are asking everyone to be on site (Harlem NY) on Tuesday, November 10th or Wednesday, November 11th, no later than 12:00pm and we expect the day to be over at 2:30pm. The day will flow as follows:

  • Introductions
  • Your personal duties at your church as the Minister of Music
  • A brief word by our host Mr. Joe Holland
  • Complimentary lunch and introduction of our Chef
  • A five minute presentation by Liz Black of 1190 WLIB
  • Final thoughts from Mr. Joe Holland

Please be aware that this format may change slightly

Also, this event is a GU event and seeing that they have a specific agenda in mind. Normally, we do not ask, but for this event, please do not bring flyer cards, CD's, or any other products with you except contact information on a business card. Any projects you may have that you’d like to discuss, we can do that after this event.

Come with a heart of fellowship, positive transforming dialogue, encouragement and to have fun.
