Former NFL Players to Release Warriors Worshippers
Their approach to ministry is different than others, especially coming from their sports background. They add two different dimensions with Marcus’ gospel background and Gino’s praise & worship style.
No strangers to the music industry Gino, a senior associate pastor released his debut solo project The Unfolding, co-produced by Grammy award-winning Israel Houghton and featured recording artists Niecee Walls, Claude McKnight of Take 6, and Shake Anderson, former bass player for the legendary group Earth, Wind, and Fire.
A certified sports nutritionist and personal trainer, Marcus took another route honing his musical talents by taking a variety of applicable classes and singing in the gospel choir while attending Louisiana State University. He also performed the National Anthem, in addition to singing alongside gospel greats at the 2004 Super Bowl Gospel Celebration in Houston Texas, during his time in the NFL.
Collectively, the two have played professional football for the Jacksonville Jaguars, San Diego Chargers, New Orleans Saints, Buffalo Bills, Dallas Cowboys, Kansas City Chiefs, and B.C. Lions.
“Distinguished”is a refreshing force, in the music industry, opening doors for ministry opportunities, while Warrior Worshippers reflects their love for Christ. “We want to be leaders and influence generations to come!”
