ATLANTA, GA – Episodes of the first two seasons of Gospel Dream, Gospel Music Channel’s nation-wide talent search, will run every Wednesday night at 9:00 p.m. (ET/PT) beginning Sept. 5 on Gospel Music Channel, the nation’s first and only 24/7 all-gospel/Christian music television network.

The 13-week run of encore presentations (Also Sundays at 4:00 p.m.) are in anticipation of the start of the third season of Gospel Dream, which will be announced later this year.

Gospel Music Channel and Zomba Gospel Group, a division of SONY/BMG, first launched Gospel Dream in late 2005 as Gospel Music Channel’s national “Idol®”-style talent search for America’s next great gospel star, created by Executive Producer Elvin Ross.

After competing with thousands of aspiring artists from all over the country, Gospel Dream named Brian Smith, a Michigan radio DJ, its first winner. Smith has gone on to record and release his Zomba Gospel debut Love Letter this past June. Second seasonwinner Carli Marino, a 19-year-old college student from New Jersey, is readying her first album under Sony/BMG’s Zomba Gospel Label.

Gospel Music Channel (www.gospelmusicchannel.com) is the nation’s first and only 24/7 all music entertainment television network devoted to the uplifting, inspiring and diverse music that is gospel/Christian music. It is one of the fastest-growing cable channels in television today; the network has doubled availability in 2007 alone and is now carried in all ten of the top ten markets and 22 of the top 25. It was recently named in the Beta Research independent survey as the #1 emerging network in 2007. Gospel Music Channel can be seen on various cable systems around the country.
