Ricky Dillard Returns With New CD 7th Episode Live In Toronto

New York, NY –  All-new music from Gospel’s ultimate showman hits stores this Fall with the return of Ricky Dillard and New G on the release of 7th EPISODE LIVE IN TORONTO.

This hotly anticipated new project from Dillard was recorded earlier this year in Canada to a packed house.  In a tragic coincidence Dillard’s home in Atlanta burned to the ground that very evening leading to the popular Gospel artist to lose his house and most of his possessions.  Though borne out of tragedy, this album is a symbol of resiliency. 

Fans of Dillard will enjoy this dynamic new CD which will bring hope, healing, deliverance and victory to all who experience the 7th EPISODE.  Dillard brings his unique artistry to 7th EPISODE LIVE IN TORONTO that captures the energy, flare and spirit of Chicago worship and praise that is his foundation.   Teaming up once again with his choir, NEW G, Dillard offers his signature high-energy and powerful praise jams including the smash hit single “The Light,” and “One More Chance.”

Born, raised & highly symbolic of the Chicago music scene, Dillard has made a name for himself as musical force to be reckoned with.  Dillard began at an early age directing the youth choir in his church (at the age of five) and later the young adult choirs. Drawing inspiration from other gospel performers including Rev. Milton Brunson and the Thompson Community Singers; Dr. Mattie Moss Clark; Dr. Charles G. Hayes, and Thomas Whitfield, Dillard continued to direct choirs locally and was a member of the Thompson Community Singers.  His soulful and powerful sound has been instantly recognizable since his debut in the early 90’s. 

In support of the project Dillard will host several release events including a hometown ‘Street Date’ performance and in-store appearance at FYE at Ford City located at 7601 S. Cicero Ave.
