Nashville, TN - When you hear the name BeBe Winans, you immediately think talented, gifted, loved, with a soulful tenor voice.

BeBe Winans is a groundbreaking inspirational, R&B and Gospel vocalist, writer, and producer. BeBe has won four Grammy Awards, ten Dove Awards, six Stellar Awards, two NAACP Awards and a Soul Train Award. A multi faceted artist, BeBe not only has a successful recording career, but also recently launched a syndicated radio show and returned to acting in both film and theater.

On September 25, BeBe’s next album Cherch was released on iTunes with the in-store CD to be released on October 30. This 2-disc collection is filled with old time foot-stomping, hand-clapping favorites. It brings the songs of yesterday into the here and now.

This current project Cherch is taking BeBe back to his roots in gospel music. Not only will you hear his heart on this album, you will hear just how much gospel music has evolved over the years and how BeBe infuses fun and laughter into his message.

BeBe’s success and Cherch roots continue a blessed family tradition that started with his parents and older brothers. Singing background for his famous older brothers (The Winans), BeBe began making his career singing background on the “Praise the Lord” (PTL) television show with his sister CeCe. While on PTL, they recorded the song “Lord Lift Us Up” due to popular demand on the show. After the success of that song, they went on to record an entire album which led into a recording career neither one could have dreamed of, garnering an amazing run of smash hits, platinum-selling albums, and awards.

BeBe and CeCe recorded albums such as BeBe And CeCe Winans (Sparrow/Capitol, 1987), Heaven (Sparrow/Capitol, 1988), Different Lifestyles (Sparrow/Capitol, 1991), First Christmas (Sparrow/Capitol, 1993), Relationships (Sparrow/Capitol, 1994), Greatest Hits (Sparrow/EMI, 1996) and The Best Of BeBe And CeCe (Sparrow, 2006).

Although BeBe and CeCe worked phenomenally well together as a duo, they both knew they had bigger dreams and plans for their lives individually. In 1995, the dynamic duo of BeBe and CeCe split to do their own solo projects.
