Ricky Dillard's New Smash CD 7th Episode Live In Toronto Debuts at Number 8 on Billboard Top Gospel

(New York, NY) – After a three-year absence Gospel music’s ultimate showman returns with a bona fide hit record!  RICKY DILLARD, the dynamic choir leader takes his NEW G CHORALE all the way to a TOP TEN debut this week on Billboard’s Top Gospel Chart.

Coming in at Number 8 in the music magazine’s top Gospel Albums Chart, 7th EPISODE LIVE IN TORONTO marks the best 1st week overall scan for Ricky Dillard & New G.

This successful first week is being supported by a both critical and consumer acclaim.  Additionally, Dillard celebrated the release in his hometown of Chicago with special in-store appearances and album release concert.  This week will be capped off with a live performance and appearance on Chicago’s WGN Morning Show tomorrow morning. Continuing to make appearances, Dillard will also host additional release activities in Atlanta and will be featured in an upcoming BET “Bobby Jones Gospel” television appearance.

Dillard recorded 7th EPISODE LIVE IN TORONTO earlier this year in Toronto, Canada to a packed house.  In a tragic coincidence Dillard’s home in Atlanta burned to the ground that very evening leading to the popular Gospel artist to lose his house and most of his possessions.  Though borne out of tragedy, this album is a symbol of resiliency, victory and praise!
