Trin-I-Tee 5:7 Travel To Gulf Coast As Part Of Their Humanitarian Efforts

New Orleans, LA - Mathew Knowles’ Spirit Rising Music artists, Trin-i-tee 5:7 who recently debuted at #2 on Billboard’s Current Gospel chart with their latest release T57 (release date September 18) launched the second leg of their “Ambassadors of Hope & Triumph Campaign” on the Gulf Coast October 9-12, 2007. The group, who initiated their campaign in April in New Orleans, engaged in activities such as singing, motivational speaking, and rebuilding projects.

T57 participated in many activities while on the Gulf Coast including speaking at the Lyman Senior Citizen Center on Tuesday; singing at First Missionary Baptist Church in Gulfport on Wednesday, volunteering with Habitat for Humanity in Bay St. Louis on Thursday and visiting with children at a local daycare center as pictured above. Says group member Adrian, 'We sang 'Jesus Loves the Little Children' and they sang along. These were sweet children who were just glad to have us there. We had a hug line when we were closing out and that was the very best part I promise!'

“Ambassadors of Hope & Triumph Campaign” is a humanitarian effort that occurs three times annually in different geographic locations. The 2007 campaign will serve Louisiana (April), Mississippi (October), and Alabama (December). The initial locations serve areas in the United States adversely impacted or devastated by hurricanes Katrina, Rita and their aftermaths. Trin-i-tee 5:7 hopes to passionately inspire humanity through the action of rebuilding these torn areas. Through committed activity that will aid in restoring trust and faith in the genuineness of humanity to help those in need, Trin-i-tee 5:7 will serve as motivators for optimistic thinking, positive expectation and restored hope in a brighter future. Trin-i-tee 5:7 will prove triumphant success can come from tragedy.

“With all that we’ve gained in our life, all the blessings we’ve received, it’s our time to give back and share those blessings” says Trin-i-tee 5:7 on the passion behind their campaign.

Trin-i-tee 5:7 knows about facing the storms of life. The group, comprised of Chanelle Haynes, Angel Taylor & Adrian Anderson, had to hold on to their faith as two of the girls’ native New Orleans was submerged in 2005 due to the ravaging effects of Hurricane Katrina. Now that Gospel’s best-selling female trio has weathered the storm, they released their brand new project, T57 on September 18, and the challenge not only has made them stronger, but the maturity of Trin-i-tee 5:7 is reflected in their new musical collection.
