Stellar Award Nominee Vibraphonist Lionel Jones Backstage with Trinitee 5:7 at Gospel Superfest

Los Angeles, CA - Stellar Award nominee vibraphonist Lionel Jones performed songs from his award winning debut CD Papa Jones (Color Code Purple Productions/Central South) at the Gospel SuperFest in Atlanta last Saturday. Lionel's seductively spiritual jazz and powerful praise and worship had his audience clapping their hands, stomping their feet and raising their voices in praise and affirmation of his prodigious talents. After his performance, Lionel took time to meet with the lovely and gracious ladies of the chart topping trio Trinitee 5:7 (Pictured above L-R, Adrian, Chanelle and Angel - photo credit-LaGaunda Jones) at the sparkling new Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre. Upcoming Lionel Jones television performances include the Bobby Jones Gospel Retreat in Hollywood, Florida in November which will be seen on the Word Network. Lionel will also be performing onstage in the new season of TV One's The Gospel of Music with Jeff Majors, which Lionel taped in Los Angeles last September.

"I believe that the songs on Papa Jones are inspired by both the written and preached, true Word of God. The seeds that have been sown in my heart, my soul and my spirit have shown me that this is what God has ordained for me to do, with me as his vehicle and the vibraphone as mine,” Lionel said.
