New York, NY –  Giving fans what they have long been waiting for, Ricky Dillard recently released a special ‘Limited Deluxe Edition’ of his current smash album, 7th EPISODE LIVE IN TORONTO, which includes both the CD and a full-length Live concert DVD.

The exclusive CD/DVD set released on Dillard’s own Animated Entertainment imprint, NuSpring Records and EMI Gospel, is the ultimate must-have for any Gospel music fan.  The DVD features never-before seen concert footage that captures the energy, excitement and emotion of Dillard’s live recording in Toronto last January.  Dillard brings his unique artistry to this project bringing the flare and spirit of Chicago worship and praise that is his foundation.  Teaming up with his choir, NEW G, Dillard offers high-energy and powerful praise jams including “The Light,” “One More Chance” and “Our Father You Are Holy.”

This release is hot off the heels from his appearance on the 23rd Annual Stellar Awards. Giving what many say was the best performance of the night Dillard and New G tore the house down with their performance of his monster hit song “The Light.”   Defying anyone to stay seated Dillard’s signature vibrancy and showmanship brought the entire Opry House to their feet.   The 23rd Annual Stellar Awards are aired nationally and a listing of airdates and times can be found on www.gospelflava.com/stellar.html.

Born, raised & highly symbolic of the Chicago music scene, Dillard has made a name for himself as musical force to be reckoned with.  Dillard began at an early age directing the youth choir in his church (at the age of five) and has drawn inspiration from Rev. Milton Brunson and the Thompson Community Singers; Dr. Mattie Moss Clark; Dr. Charles G. Hayes, and Thomas Whitfield. His soulful and powerful sound has been instantly recognizable since his debut in the early 90’s.
