Troy Sneed’s Latest Vocal Creation-Bonafide Praisers New CD “Destined To Worship”. Debuts in the Top 30 on Billboard Gospel Album Sales Chart

Hailed as one of the Top producers of the Year for the last two years, Troy Sneed, who was integrally involved in creating the music on Whitney Houston’s double-platinum “Preacher’s Wife” soundtrack, continues to rack up hits for his Emtro Gospel label. His latest ensemble, Bonafide Praisers, has debuted at #27 on Billboard magazine’s gospel album sales chart with their new CD “Destined to Worship.”

His own “Hallelujah”, Bishop Bruce Parham’s “Call Jesus” and Alvin Darling’s “Nobody But the Lord” have all been Top Ten Billboard gospel radio smashes within the last year and now Sneed’s new vocal ensemble, Bonafide Praisers, are threatening to take their debut single all the way to the Top Ten as well. The single “Work it Out”
is continuing to build and has inched from #18 last week to #15 with a bullet this week on Billboard’s Hot Gospel Songs chart.

After realizing the impact of another Emtro Gospel act Youth for Christ’s “The Struggle is Over” (#1 on Billboard for 12 weeks) had on the nation through the outpouring of emails and phone calls of people testifying about how the song touched their hearts, Sneed asked God to give him a song to further encourage people and “Work it Out” is the result. “In today’s times gospel music needs to speak to people where they are,” Sneed says.

Similar in concept to Emtro Gospel’s Youth For Christ ensemble, Bonafide Praisers is a musical concept ensemble of local singers gathered in Jacksonville, Florida. However, Sneed’s vision is to go to a different city each year in search of true Bonafide Praisers and record new music with them. Sneed says, “The response has already been incredible. Of course, I want success for the projects but at the end of the day, I want God’s people to be healed through the power of praise.”
