Gospel Superfest Releases 8th Annual Black History Special
Gospel Superfest's 8th Annual Salute to Black History hosted by Dawnn Lewis, Clifton Davis, Cee Cee Michaela and Flex Alexander with performances by Trin-i-tee 5:7, Howard Hewett, Bishop Paul S. Morton, Norman Hutchins, The Ladwec Mass Choir, Kevin Davidson & The Voices, Bishop Neal Roberson, Men Of Standard, TONEX, Canton Jonesand others airs Thursday night (Late night) on ION TV Network.
Gospel Superfest's 8th Annual Salute to Black History was taped in front of a live TV audience at Atlanta's new Cobb Energy Center this past October. The Superfest continues to inspire and uplift national TV audiences with several network and cable associations. Now in its unprecedented eighth consecutive season in domestic syndication Gospel Superfest continues to offer new and established gospel artists national and international TV opportunites through itsproduciton.
Gospel Superfest's 8th Annual Salute to Black History is presented by Procter & Gamble brands, Bounty, Crest, Gain & Pampers and is co-sponsored by Chevy Malbu. The show is executive produced by Bobby Cartwright, Jr. and directed by Carey Goin.

Gospel Superfest was founded in 1998 by its executive producer Dr. Bobby Cartwright, Jr. and is seen around the world via the Trinity Broadcasting Network, Gospel Music Channel, ION TV, and in domestic syndication on CBS, ABC, NBC, FOX, CW affiliates nationwide.
GospelSuperfest releases five one-hour specials in syndication yearly. The show as reached 94%US HH distribution in 2005, the highest of any current gospel entertainment show in syndication. (Source Nielsen Media Research) Each year United Television, the show's producers, conducts an international festival where these and other shows are filmed for television in front of thousands of enthusiastic fans. Previous markets where Gospel Superfest TV has been recorded are: New York City, Atlanta, GA, Jacksonville, FL, Louisville, KY, Columbus, OH, and Raliegh, NC.
