Indianapolis, In -- Tyscot Records, the nation’s oldest independent Gospel label is announcing its finalization of a joint venture with Xist Records and Crossover Entertainment.

Tyscot Records, with its plethora or Dove & Stellar Award winners and nominees as THE RANCE ALLEN GROUP and SHIRLEY MURDOCK, BRENT JONES & TP MOBB and BISHOP NOEL JONES PRESENTS CITY OF REFUGE fresh off their number one hit album featuring “Not About Us”, the 32-year old trailblazing company continues raising the bar in Gospel music. The label just recently partnered with FRONTLINE ENTERTAINMENT, CAJO INTERNATIONAL and more, just added two more with XIST RECORDS and CROSSOVER ENTERTAINMENT.

About Xist Records: a division of Xist Holdings Inc.is the future of urban Inspirational entertainment. The company intends to establish a brand new look and sound of Urban Leisure that offers a breath of fresh air with a unique lure and enhanced musical dimension that will go beyond the four walls of the church. By combining appeal, and relevance with truth, it utilizes familiar formats and music styles with a Xist twist. Xist Records is the vision of Terverius Black and Sean Simmonds (met while attending Oakwood College, Huntsville AL).

“Everybody thought hip-hop would fade,” says Co-owner T. Black. “And before hip-hop there was God. He is the reason why we Xist. He adds: "Xist is in the building, oh boy!"

With drive, determination, and faith, Black a.k.a T. Black (Xist-CEO) started Xist Holding Inc. with a prayer, a few contacts, and the blueprint Russell Simmons laid out for aspiring entertainment entrepreneurs. "The idea behind Xist was to create Inspirational entertainment and a product to give youth an alternative stated by Black."

About Crossover Entertainment: The Houston-based company was established just last year by Pastor Gregg Patrick to produce and distribute musical works, including his own release The Bridge Project, in partnership with Tyscot Records. Pastor Patrick joined forces with celebrated composer and producer Elvin Ross, who with extensive experience in composition, gospel and pop music with the Southwest Community Christian Center (SWCCC) with 19 members and a vision to meet growing spiritual needs of its surrounding community. SWCCC has grown into a mega-church of more than 8,000 members since 1991. The ministry and its leader have become renowned for awesome leadership, special events, concerts and community outreach including the Stellar Awards Star Search, which yielded Micah Stampley
