Thanksgiving: Time To Reflect

Thanksgiving is one of the oldest holidays in America . The holiday began with a harvest shared between the Plymouth colonists and the Wampanoag Indians in 1621. This harvest meal was symbolic of the cooperation between the Indians and the English colonists. Today, Thanksgiving is celebrated with family and friends over a huge meal which includes turkey, dressing, casseroles and a number of sides and desserts.
