Faith-based Organization Works To Feed Atlanta’s Hungry |

Atlanta, GA (ChristianPRgroup.com) - New Birth Missionary Baptist Church located in Lithonia, Georgia continues its partnership with one of the largest international aid organizations, Hosea Feed the Hungry and Homeless (HFTH), to distribute food, clothing, medical, educational and survival supplies to thousands of people on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 27, 2008. As the largest financial contributor to HFTH, New Birth is expanding its support of the organization by providing New Birth outreach ministry volunteers to assist the HFTH staff in serving meals on Thanksgiving Day at Turner Field, 755 Hank Aaron Drive, SE in Atlanta. Since 2002, New Birth Church has assisted the organization with nearly $ 750,000 as HFTH has helped more than a million people by providing food, rent, mortgage, and utility assistance to families; literacy courses and GED classes; and, distributing school supplies and book bags to children. “We encourage our church family to be empowered through service and Christian-centered activities,” says Bishop Eddie L.
