Atlanta, GA – A rare and special gathering of young adults have come together to form a singing group like no other – Nu Tradition! Their different brand of music will be showcased on The Bobby Jones Gospel Show SUNDAY, DECEMBER 14TH on Black Entertainment Television (BET). Nu Tradition’s self-titled debut album was recently released on Tyscot Records and available now in stores and online. They will sing two songs from their latest CD on The Bobby Jones Gospel Show including the lead single “Victory Shall Be Mine”. They are featured alongside Tye Tribbett & G.A. and William Murphy.
“Our songs can be sung at Sunday morning services or any choir concert”, says Nathan Young, one of the founding members. “It will make you clap, dance and shout. We are taking you to church with our mix of old-time favorites as well as new contemporary tunes.”
Artists featured on their new CD include some of Gospel music’s finest ‘praise and worship’ leaders such as Dr. Judith Christie McAllister, Lamar Campbell, Rev. Lawrence Thomison and more. The brainchild behind this clever project is versatile producer Austin Moore. He adds: “I think this is one of the most amazing groups I have come in contact with.” The group is made of young people ages 20-35 from various southern US cities. Moore concludes with “Their talents and gifts speak volumes. If you like traditional music, then this album is a must have. It is something that all ministers of music will love to cherish.”
The group was inspired by the vision of the oldest living active Bishop in the Church of God in Christ, 96-year-old Bishop A.T. Moore of Louisville, KY.
