Fresh off her first Dove Award at this month's Gospel Music Association Awards (GMA) show in Nashville TN, EMI Gospel recording artist Kierra "KiKi" Sheard is preparing for a busy spring and summer. Sheard's Rodney Jerkins-produced single "You Don't Know", from her chart-topping debut release I Owe You, garnered the Dove for Urban Recorded Song of the Year. Sheard had a big night at the awards show. The 17-year-old also performed with the Crabb Family. The GMA Awards air nationally in syndication beginning in mid-June.

The teen gospel sensation, who looks forward to her high school graduation in June, will spend time in the studio this summer, recording her sophomore release, due in early 2006. In the meantime, fans can look forward to Sheard's remix CD, Just Until…The Next Record, which will hit stores on August 2 (value priced at $9.98). Sheard will travel the country beginning in June on a mall tour to promote the project. Just Until's eight tracks will be largely comprised of remixes from Sheard's I Owe You as one new recording.

Fans can also hear Sheard and seven other EMI Gospel artists on the forthcoming free Kellogg's promotional CD Voices of Praise (with the purchase of three company brands including Keebler, Pop-Tarts, Eggo, Cheez-It, Nutri-Grain, Rice Krispies, Murray, Austin, Morningstar Farms, Famous Amos, Carr's Plantation, Ready Crust, and Kashi ) available in June at participating retail outlets.

Kellogg Company has tapped Sheard as a spokesperson and celebrity judge for the inaugural Kellogg's Gospel Sing Off Youth Choir Competition. The company has invited youth gospel choirs across the country to submit recordings, and a total of 40 groups will be selected for semi-final competition in regional contests around the country. The grand prize winner will perform with Sheard during her set at Disney's Night of Joy in Orlando on September 10. Sheard will perform at the contest's regional semi-finals in Detroit on July 15, in Chicago on July 16, in Dallas on July 17, in Washington, D.C. on July 22, and Atlanta on July 23.
