Rick Warren, senior pastor of Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, California and best-selling author of The Purpose Driven Life joined gospel music artists Shari Addison, Regina Belle and Micah Stampley at the African American Church Inaugural Ball along with the leaders of African American churches to commemorate and celebrate the inauguration of President Barack Obama.

Addison, Belle and Stampley performed in front of the collective membership of African American Churches, event attendees, as well as 25 "Keepers of the Flame" Awardees„Ÿextraordinary leaders who exemplify untiring strength and commitment to our future„Ÿwho gathered at the pre-inaugural event at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Washington, DC to honor our great history, struggles, untiring strength as well as our commitment to the future.
