“Earnest Pugh Live: Rain On Us” hits stores July 28th 2009 and Pugh plans kick off his promotional tour in the Nation’s Capitol, his hometown, at Temple of Praise where the live recording took place. The 17-song disc features Vanessa Bell Armstrong and Richard Smallwood. The CD has been described as the ultimate vehicle for listeners to reach the destination of Worship through a blend of high-praise, moving ballads and powerful music.

The first single, “Reign On Me,” came spontaneously out of a sudden move by God whose presence came down so heavily. As listeners hear the compelling ballad that speaks to the theme of the entire project, Pugh offers the song as a plea for God to rain down His Favor and Grace during these difficult times. The song certainly touches a chord and reminds us to stay faithful and His promises will be revealed. “In these dark times I am reminded to stay faithful and focused on Him,” said Pugh. “That as we draw near to Him he draws unto us and that whatever and whenever God’s Hand is on us … I believe we are going to see an outpouring of God’s blessing like never before.”
