Phillip Carter and Sounds Of Victory to Release "Songs From The Storm" July 28th

Aside from SOV, Carter serves as the minister of music at Mt. Ephraim Baptist Church in Upper Marlboro, and is also on the ministerial staff at Breath of Life Ministries in Laurel, both in his home state of Maryland.

Graduating with a degree in music education from Bowie State University, Carter has always kept a busy schedule of performing, instructing, serving, and composing for choirs at the Gospel Music Workshop of America, where he has been actively involved since 1990. Carter also held the responsibility of directing the gospel program at the Washington Performing Arts Society from 1999 to 2007, which he performed yearly with at the Kennedy Center during his tenure.
