Tyscot Records-Rance Allen Group All Star Tribute Live Recording in Detroit
Renowned, Legendary, Anointed and Phenomenal are just a few words that describe the Rance Allen Group, but more will be declared during their All Star Tribute Live CD/DVD Recording on July 16, 2010.
On July 16, 2010, all roads will lead to Greater Grace Temple in Detroit, MI and every song will be heard and felt throughout the building and the great city of Detroit.
Following their BET Celebration of Gospel show-stopping performance of “Something About the Name Jesus” and the instant National Airplay initiated by Steve Harvey during his Syndicated Morning Show, The Rance Allen Group has been re-introduced and is more than ready to record again “Live” with an All Star list of Gospel Greats.
Dr. Rance Allen is overjoyed with the renewed interest in the group’s music and he doesn’t take this recent activity lightly. “We are overwhelmingly happy that at this stage of our career, we’re still being called to do more music,” said Allen. “I’m meeting people from a new generation that are just as interested in us as our fans of old.”
The All Star Tribute Live Recording will be the group’s fourth CD on Tyscot Records, following All the Way (2002), The Live Experience (2004) and Closest Friend (2007).
According to Tyscot Records president Dr. Leonard Scott, the label is ecstatic about the live recording and thrilled about the resurgence of The Rance Allen Group.
