June Rochelle on Access Hollywood
On a mission to soothe and uplift listeners with her soulful voice and message of hope, the Indianapolis native has stood before tens of thousands of people to sing with musical luminaries Celine Dion (in French no less) and Diana Ross. June’s demo vocal of the song “Lately” provided the foundation for Arista Records’ soul-pop trio Divine to reach the top of the Billboard Top 100 Singles chart. But her most profound performances have been in the humble service of people in need, in church pews or behind prison walls, encouraging soul-battered people to continue to strive forward.
