Kutless Wins Big with Numbers, NBC’s Scrubs and Target
New York, NY - BEC/Tooth and Nail Rock band KUTLESS is headed into GMA Week after completing the most successful week of their 4 year career. Hearts of the Innocent, KUTLESS 4th album scanned 21,8881 landing the band at #1 on the CBA charts, #2 on the overall Christian charts, and #45 on the Billboard top 200. Hearts Of The Innocent, which almost doubled first week sales of KUTLESS’ Strong Tower in Feb. of 2005, gives Tooth & Nail/BEC Recordings their second highest first week scans in label history.

Not only has KUTLESS been noticed on the charts but they have made it to the small screen as well. On Tuesday night’s episode of the NBC hit SCRUBS the song “All Of The Words” from KUTLESS’ third album Strong Towerplayed for almost 2 minutes during the pivotal scene of the season on the popular comedy. Tuesday night’s episode hit an 11 week ratings high, and is among the first SCRUBS episodes that can be downloaded on iTunes.

KUTLESS’ ground breaking video “Shut Me Out” has been placed on an exclusive Microsoft/Wal-Mart DVD give-a-way. Consumers who purchase X-box’s new game The Apprentice, featuring Donald Trump, will receive a copy of KUTLESS’ new video. This is estimated to be in the hands of 350,000 gamers. Plus, Target Stores announced that the “Shut Me Out” video will play nationwide in all stores on Target TV (Red Channel) beginning in May.
