Michelle Duffie Joins Light Records

NASHVILLE, TN-- Light Records has announced the appointment of music industry veteran Michelle Duffie to the position of Director of Marketing. Duffie will develop and oversee the overall marketing, promotions, artist development and positioning of the label’s artists and projects. The current artist roster includes the legendary Mighty Clouds of Joy, BMI Songwriter of the Year Christopher Lewis, and Bishop Andrew Merritt's Bjada Records.

Duffie, who also serves as Vice President and co-owner of Millennium Entertainment Group (MEG), has represented a stellar client roster which has included nine-time GRAMMY award-winner CeCe Winans; creator and host of BET's Bobby Jones Gospel and Video Gospel, Dr. Bobby Jones; and multi-GRAMMY nominated group Gospel Gangstaz. She has also worked and consulted with H20 productions (owned by NY Nicks player Allan Houston), Arrow Records (Dr. Creflo and Taffi Dollar), Zemi Music Group and Kerry Gordy Entertainment.

Light Records is one of three full-service labels, along with a distribution arm, that make up the Compendia Media Group. Light Records is distributed by Compendia Music, a division of Compendia Media Group, an integrated entertainment and media management company operating in the areas of music, home video, direct marketing, publishing and interactive TV.
