West Chester, Ohio, Monday, November 13th, 2003 - It is with great pleasure that we present to you the Barrow Music Group. The Barrow Music Group Recording Company has joined the ranks of major gospel recording companies for the soul purpose of impacting the nations with the Gospel of God through song and the spoken Word. Donovan "Donnie" Barrow, President and CEO, originally started the firm in March 2000 solely as a music production company. In January 2002, the Barrow Music Group was birthed into the ranks of the Gospel recording industry with the purpose and commitment of spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ. The Barrow Music Group is not your "normal" traditional Gospel record company. There is a fresh, anointed sound that comes out of this label that is sure to touch the heart of both the young and old. While the label is a babe amidst the giants in the Gospel recording industry, there is no doubt of the excellence and talent among the multi-talented artists appearing on this label. Pastor Beverly Y. Jackson, from Great Faith Ministries International of Detroit Michigan, was the first artist launched on the label with the self-titled release "Pastor Beverly Jackson & Prosperity In Praise". The project, released in June 2003, is sure to take you into the Holy Place. Pastor Beverly serves faithfully alongside her husband, Bishop Wayne T. Jackson, where she is an anointed, prophetess, teacher, and Praise and Worship leader at Great Faith Ministries International. Also signed to the label from Detroit, MI, is Ernest Lee and Spirit of David, who early in his career penned and arranged "The Lord is With Us In This Place" which was recorded by Fred Hammond. In 2002, Ernest Lee and the Spirit of David were nominated for the Gospel Music Workshop of America's Best New Artist/Contemporary Urban Award and in 2003 received the Motor City Music Award for Outstanding Gospel Artist Group. The new CD, "New Psalms" is destined to be a hit and will be released November 11th, 2003! To go deeper into the treasure chest of the label, you will find Barbara Pinkston, a veteran to the Gospel Music industry who for 17 years sang with Grammy Award winner Dr. Charles Fold and the Charles Fold Singers. In her own words Barbara Pinkston stands on Psalms 34 and her desire is to set the captives free by ministering in song to the lost, broken hearted and hopeless. Barbara is set to record her debut project "live" on January 31st, 2004 in her hometown of Lexington, KY. To further strengthen the foundation of the label, from Philadelphia, PA there is Pastor Barry Devine and True Worship, who have accompanied gospel artist such as Donnie McClurkin, Dawkins & Dawkins, and Trinity 3:5-7. They are poised and positioned to set a standard in radical praise and worship with their November 2003 debut "Are You Ready 4 Worship?"
